Program

Renovation and interior design of the White 1921 hotel.

Located on rue du Rocher, at the base of the ski slopes, the WHITE 1921, a new hotel from the LVMH group, aims to reinvent the codes of mountain hotels: it stands out for its whiteness, as much for its painted façade as for the purity of its interior layout.

The starting point for this renovation is the creation of a set of spaces with a contemporary feel. A geometric decor based on triangles, a nod to mountain peaks, forms the common thread running through the project. This motif is used on all floors in a variety of materials, both in the wall coverings and on the floors.

In the entrance hall, the motif is carved into white lacquered brushed wood. It is juxtaposed with natural light oak panelling, a second material used in most of the spaces in the form of furniture or wall finishes. The ambience of the twenty-six rooms, divided into five types, is characterised by a high level of luminosity dominated by white and enhanced by unexpected touches of colour and a selection of atypical, made-to-measure furniture.
