The project is located in the business park at the northern entrance to the city of Chambéry. The land, made up of several plots, is located in two communes: Chambéry and La Motte-Servolex.
The design of the building is adapted to meet specific programming constraints, resulting in a compact “silo” type structure. This shape optimises space while meeting the requirements of the project. The building consists of three levels resting on a semi-buried car park. This configuration allows the ground floor to be raised, giving the façade spaces unobstructed views over the adjacent streets and surrounding low-rise buildings. This design seeks not only to maximise the efficient use of space but also to enhance the visual experience and interaction with the immediate urban environment. The architectural project includes an auditorium in continuity with the reception hall, benefiting from double height and large bay windows with sliding panels for flexible blackout. The adjacent catering area includes a dining room, a cafeteria and a lounge-club.
The offices, on levels R+1 and R+2, surround a central patio planted with trees, optimising circulation and natural light. The workspaces, laid out according to a 1.35 m façade module, offer flexible partitioning. The central garden takes advantage of the existing landscape and offers views of the mountains, incorporating islands of plants in random shapes.
