Construction of very high energy performance offices for the Safran group in Toulouse.
This tertiary campus is a real showcase for the group, in particular thanks to its immense showroom highlighting its know-how, and responds to programming constraints with a functional organisation similar to the distributive model used for airports: the HUB.
The project organises the three functional entities as three distinct architectural volumes, which combine in a play of proportions and materials to develop a coherent whole whose simplicity, accuracy and harmony reveal the excellence of Safran’s know-how. The facades are of three different types, which articulate and respond to each other to form a coherent and designed whole. They give this campus a controlled and timeless character, a real place that asserts itself through the purified rigour of its generating lines.
The landscaping is based on a pixelated grid of vegetation where the perception of the garden changes at each level. The graphic treatment of the plant palette gives a pictorial and chromatic fragmentation.
