Program

Construction of the new Credit Agricole Aquitaine headquarters on the industrial and port site of the Bassins à Flot area in Bordeaux.

The industrial history of the site, and particularly the sequence along the Senegal quay, influenced the definition of the project. The building aims to enhance the industrial and port site of the area.

The new headquarters of the Credit Agricole Aquitaine is made up of work spaces and public spaces shared by the residents of the headquarters, employees of other sites and visitors. This programmatic particularity gives great importance to common spaces, which are enhanced and interwoven by the project. They create a series of unique spaces, but linked to each other by a set of terraces and planted patios, bringing light, views and conviviality to each of them. The office spaces crown this programmatic ensemble in the form of attics that overlook this new planted landscape.

Through the choice of materials (cream-coloured stone and light bronze aluminium, dark aluminium cladding for the houses) and the many openings to the exterior, the building is delicately integrated into the historic landscape and ensures a unique and contemporary visibility for the leading regional banking group.
