The Bleu Ciel tower is part of the Harwood Village urban project, the last piece of Dallas' residential district. This new development will help to densify the city's urban fabric, as it is surrounded by gardens, restaurants, cultural spaces and entertainment venues.
The Tour Bleu Ciel is the gateway to the Harwood district. All its flats meet the needs of contemporary lifestyles and have a large private terrace. The elegant curved railings of the frosted glass terraces, juxtaposed with the facets of the windows and the white stucco walls, create a clear urban identity.
Bleu Ciel rethinks the boundary between private and public spaces to encourage residents to spend time outdoors. A great deal of importance has been attached to the public spaces surrounding the project: landscaping, maintenance of green spaces, street furniture, clean and safe roads. There are over 2.4 ha of gardens, a 12 ha park to the north of Harwood and 5.6 km of pedestrian and cycle routes in the surrounding area.
The new building fits into the orthogonal structure of the urban grid and adopts the rigorous geometry of the existing buildings, transposed into a clear, minimalist form. Harwood Village plays an important role in the new image of the district, an example of contemporary architecture in the city of Dallas.
