Construction of a group of properties composed by 373 homes, 6 shops and a crèche.
Situated on the north-eastern edge of the commune of Clichy-la-Garenne, the project is part of a wider programme to redevelop the quays of the Seine, in conjunction with the ZAC des Docks de Saint-Ouen. In order to preserve as much open space as possible, three independent buildings have been erected at each point of the plot.
The design features a uniform material throughout the three buildings: white concrete and natural stone façades, and mixed aluminium (exterior) / PVC (interior) joinery in anthracite grey. The combination of white concrete, stone and aluminium was chosen to give the buildings a bright and noble appearance. The landscaping is designed to link the different areas of the project. The sinuous lines of the garden evoke the variations of natural spaces. A breath of fresh air at the heart of the block, the garden is available to residents. An area will be reserved for children.
Building A, at 18 storeys up, comprises residential units, three restaurants and a crèche. Building B, at 6 storeys up, includes a senior citizens’ residence and a retail outlet. Building C, with an elevation of 10 storeys above ground level, comprises residential accommodation and shops.
