Rehabilitation and construction of a 60-seat restaurant.
As part of the refurbishment and extension of the Hotel de Nell in Paris, the restaurant was designed as an authentic gourmet restaurant and bistro, while at the same time creating a vinothèque - bookshop, a more intimate space where guests can feel at home.
Charm & More wanted to create a bistronomic restaurant. The checkerboard floor is complemented by sand and deep blue tones, wood and glass, which can be found in the restaurant as well as in the hotel’s rooms. The vinotheque is a unique and confidential private space for lunches or meetings.
Some of the furniture in the restaurant and the vinotheque was designed by the Wilmotte & Industries studio especially for this project. In the vinotheque, the Nell bridge chair is made of solid walnut with a leather seat, back and armrests. Wood is used in the bistro chairs, in light wood-stained oak, and the Nell bistro chairs.
