Construction of five individual housing units, a commercial space, and dedicated parking areas
The Presqu’île de la Touques, ideally located between the coastline and the town center of Deauville, is a district undergoing development and urban renewal. The project aims to build five individual homes, a commercial space, and dedicated parking areas.
The result of a search for balance between urbanity and privacy, the proposed individual houses respect the architectural identity of the city while creating a more convivial living environment and encouraging mixed uses.
The façades of the housing units are set apart from one another due to their staggered positioning with varying setbacks. Vertical circulation cores are highlighted by glazed pavilions that create a rhythm throughout the development. The ceiling heights are generous, reaching approximately 3.50 meters on the ground floor and 2.80 meters on the upper floor. The choice of materials—brick, glass, and powder-coated metal cladding—contributes to the unity and coherence of the project.
Designed to establish a strong continuity between interior and exterior spaces, the project offers dual-aspect houses with open views and landscaped private outdoor areas. The terraces, partially accessible via roof hatches, discreetly incorporate photovoltaic panels to better address contemporary environmental challenges.
