Extension of a hotel and creation of shops.
This project is located in Saint-Chaffrey, five kilometres from Briançon, in front the main departure point for the Serre Chevalier Vallée winter sports resort.
Well integrated into the Guisane Valley, the local architecture of the Grand Hôtel is inspired by mountain chalets and uses materials from the region. The orientation of the four new chalets has been designed to offer breathtaking mountain views. Their facades combine wood cladding, large picture windows and wooden terraces for some, and stone cladding and small picture windows for others. Slate-tinted metal roofs and stone plinths reinforce the harmony with the landscape.
The accommodation on offer mainly comprises T3 and T4 apartments with mezzanine floors and studio flats for seasonal workers. Each floor has balconies accessible from the flats. The flat roofs are planted and finished in wood, adding a natural touch to the project. The development comprises 21 furnished flats, 10 units for seasonal workers and basement parking.
