Reconstruction of the Congress Centre in Bordeaux: reception hall, circulation areas, garden, amphitheatres, meeting rooms, offices.
To complete Bordeaux's business tourism offer, the new Congress Centre raises the capital of Gironde among the most competitive cities in France and opens its borders to international markets.
A majestic glass surface invites the eye to escape, the curve of the structure offers itself to the light. Each space has an opening to let in natural light. The circulation spaces and the hall contribute to the majestic character of the place and facilitate the understanding of the building. Covered by a glass roof, the hall is flooded with light in a controlled manner. The white facades of the exhibition and congress volumes and the marble floor reinforce the clarity of the space.
The Congress Centre consists of a modular space for exhibitions and large meals, 3 amphitheatres, modular committee rooms, press and conference rooms, offices for event organisers and a panoramic bar.
