The International School of Geneva (Ecolint) is an important player in the "international" metropolis, making this city an attractive place by offering a quality educational environment. The Arts Centre, an ambitious project, offers a space for study and encounters beyond the academic disciplines and integrates the school into the cultural and artistic life of the city and canton of Geneva.

The Arts Centre is a major architectural landmark. Jean-Michel Wilmotte and his team wanted this last opportunity to build on the historic site of La Grande Boissière to be the culmination of almost a century of existence of the International School of Geneva. Transparency, lightness, conviviality and nature guided the design of this architecture, a metaphor for the creativity and innovative spirit of the future students. The use of an industrial-inspired glass material, sometimes transparent but mainly white enamel, unifies the treatment on all sides.
The building is laid out in an L-shaped plan. The large auditorium is placed along the gable of the sports hall and the theatre is placed perpendicularly on the campus side. A large oak wall in the double height of the foyer marks the presence of the auditorium by recalling the presence of the wood of the hall’s conches.
