This new litter receptacle, with its resolutely plant-based, modern lines, meets the requirements of use, maintenance, the environment and safety, particularly in relation to the Vigipirate plan, and seeks to make people forget the usually very pragmatic nature of this type of street furniture.
While great care has been taken with the aesthetic aspect, the functional aspect has not been forgotten. Designed to accommodate removable 100-litre bags, which follow their natural curves, these litter bins are fixed to the ground at the base, taking up minimal space in the public space.
The fact that they are anchored to the ground and can be detected by the end of a walking stick, and the visual contrast between the coloured bags and the metal structure of the litter bins, mean that blind or partially-sighted people can spot the presence of these items of furniture.
Our litter bin is fitted with a perfectly integrated welded extinguisher that invites smokers to put out their cigarettes. The high quality of the material used and its intrinsic non-combustibility ensure that this device will stand up to the test of time.
Each part of the receptacle has been treated to resist mechanical damage, weathering, corrosion and certain chemical agents, ensuring that it will continue to function and maintain its original surface finish for a long time to come. The very design of this new street furniture minimises the need for clean-up operations as there are no surfaces to encourage graffiti.
