APLAT BY WILMOTTE range of paints

The “APLAT by Wilmotte” range was born out of a meeting between architect Jean-Michel WILMOTTE and french professional paint manufacturer ALLIOS-JEFCO during the renovation of the Musée d’Orsay in 2011. Working together on an initial joint project, the WILMOTTE and JEFCO teams decided to redefine paint and its uses, both artistically and technically, with the aim of pushing back its possibilities and limits. It was the quest for excellence, a value intrinsic to Jean-Michel WILMOTTE’s architecture and shared by JEFCO, that facilitated this unprecedented partnership. The combination of their requirements, in their respective fields of expertise, has resulted in the development of a particularly sensual collection of paintings, where sight, touch and subjective evocation create surprise.
