Opening

On August 24, 2026, INSEAD inaugurated the Tour Desmarais, marking a major milestone in the transformation of its European campus, at the heart of the Fontainebleau forest.

Designed by Wilmotte & Associés, the Tour Desmarais reinterprets the architectural heritage of the historic campus, conceived in the early 1970s by Bernard de La Tour d’Auvergne, to address the present and future challenges of management education.

Lecture theatres, collaborative workspaces and informal meeting areas come together within open, light-filled spaces, fostering exchange and interaction between students, faculty and researchers.

The contemporary architecture engages in dialogue with the original structure, highlighting its character while integrating harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

In this way, the Tour Desmarais embodies the re-imagination of the INSEAD Europe Campus and its place within a new generation of spaces dedicated to the transmission of knowledge.
