Program

Creation of a fluid exchange hub open to the neighbourhood, creation of a real business hub, improvement of exchanges between underground and surface stations.

The project is divided into 3 stages. The first stage concerns the progressive development of the Seine courtyard and the demolition of the old offices. The second stage focuses on the Grande Halle with the installation of a 49m long zepellin in the centre of the Halle, the redevelopment of the wings of the building, the reception of a starred chef for the future restaurant, and the construction of an SNCF office building. The last stage will allow the project to open up to the neighbourhood by demolishing the dilapidated buildings of the Museum and Stables courtyards. The Cours Musem will become a place of urban life, open to the plant garden. The station will become the heart of the district, with shops, gardens, a direct link with the Salpêtrière Hospital and numerous pedestrian spaces.
