Renovation and extension of the l’Oréal headquarters in Clichy.
L’Oréal Espace is an office building complex which will house the l’Oréal headquarters on the existing L’Oréal site (currently dominated by buildings constructed from 1976 to 1978). The new project is defined as follows:
The CES A building (main facade on Rue Martre) has 11 storeys, with two below-grade floors for the car park and mechanical rooms. The office floors go from the third to tenth floors, with the top floor reserved for senior management.
The “mall” building with two storeys (restaurant, club, and guest lounges).
The CES B building (main facade on Rue Henry Barbusse) includes seven storeys, as well as the extension of the two below-grade floors for the car park and mechanical rooms. The atrium serves both as the new centre of gravity for the Espace project (the L’Oréal "brand image") and the new entrance to the Eugène Schueller Centre. Naturally sited along Rue Martre, the atrium provides a transient connection and counterpoint to the two buildings, CES A & B, housing reception as well as several services: building management, concierge, and public restrooms.
The building also includes: a cafeteria; a shop; a sports and wellness centre; a health clinic; a l’Oréal company store; a restaurant; as well as space dedicated to meeting rooms, auditoriums, and Panorama rooms.
