The city of Le Touquet opens its new Congress Center designed by W&A

The grand opening of the entirely refurbished Congress Center of the city of Le Touquet took place on Saturday February 29, in the presence of Mrs Lussignol, Mayor of Le Touquet, Mr Jean-François Rapin, Senator, Mr Daniel Fasquelle, Deputy. After two years of construction, this Touquet's iconic building proposes today new, multipurpose, flexible and modular spaces, including the 1,200-seat Maurice Ravel concert hall, which welcomed the Douai orchestra for its first concert. Respectful of the existing and perfectly integrated into the landscape, this grafting project is the starting point for a new stage in the history of this architectural heritage and above all, it helps this public facility entering the 21st century.

Inauguration of Metz Congress Center

Metz Congrès Robert Schuman was inaugurated on Friday, September 7 in the presence of all the actors of the project and in front of about 800 guests.
The building presents an unprecedented composition around the Jaumont stone, which is the symbol of Moselle architecture, and light.
The layout of the façade combines opacity and transparency, creating from inside a play of shadow and light that remind the façade of the Saint-Etienne cathedral, while from the outside, it gives the building a monolithic appearance during the day and a dematerialized one
at nightfall. With an area of 15,300 sq.m, Metz Congrès Robert Schuman has an auditorium with 1,200 seats. 80 events have already been scheduled in this new congress center.
